According to Verizon, the Pixel and Pixel XL are receiving an update today to build NDE63X. My guess is that this is November’s security patch, but Verizon’s changelog doesn’t necessarily say so. What it does say is to expect a Bluetooth fix, VR improvements, and a WiFi Calling option for New Mexico.

UPDATE: Yep, it’s the November security patch. Details here.

The changelog says the following are improved:

  • Message notifications while connected to vehicle Bluetooth® systems
  • Daydream View performance (View is out November 10)
  • Adds New Mexico as a state option during Wi-Fi Calling setup

But again, I would imagine the November security patch is included in there. We should know fairly soon, like once Googlers wake up and head into work about 10AM.

On a related note, this update should be available to all Pixel and Pixel XL owners outside of Verizon. Remember, Big Red told us to expect their variants to receive updates at the same time as Google’s.

Let us know if you see it!
