A very large update is set to soon hit the SHIELD Android TV from NVIDIA, Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Thanks to this update, users will benefit from Adoptable Storage. This feature allows SD cards, USB drives, and external hard drives to be read as internal memory on SHIELD, which makes for accessing applications and games from expandable storage much more simple.

In addition, customization of your home on SHIELD has been made easy, thanks to the ability to rearrange apps in the Recommendation Row. Now, you can order your downloaded apps however you see fit.

Not only will users benefit from the software additions in Marshmallow, but gamers will also rejoice as a new title will be made available this week. Starting Thursday, you will find Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance through SHIELD, a game focused on Raiden, a former child soldier transformed into a half-man, half-machine cyborg ninja with a soul fueled by revenge.

Be on the lookout for that Marshmallow update.
