Cortana, the Microsoft-made personal assistant, is now available for all to download on Google Play. Still sporting a beta tag, Cortana offers most of what Siri or Google Now provides you, with exception that she is powered by Bing, Microsoft’s search platform. When speaking to Cortana, you can ask her to set alarms, get calendar event reminders, and quite a bit more.

Thanks to a recent update, Cortana can also replace Google Now, but only technically. Yes, she will pop up instead of Google Now whenever you press the home key, but you cannot prompt her by saying, “Ok Cortana.” That feature has yet to come.

Cortana also pairs nicely with users of Windows computers, with the ability to easily sync certain information between the devices.

To get started, follow the Play Link below, become a tester, then get to downloading.
