  • Is getting a nexus 6 prudent at this point? I have an og moto x and I think it’s dying on me

    • Funny you ask, I just upgraded my OG Moto X to the Nexus 6 today. This phone is great. Makes the Moto X feel like a toy.

  • Talk about timing… LG G4 just came in the mail 5 mins ago, charging now. Hope I can sell my 64gb N6 for atleast 500

    • Did you pre-order on Thursday? I tried but Verizon messed up on our edge agreement last year and they are still trying to fix it, and by fix it I literally mean enter in a few numbers they hadn’t done before, but I don’t know when the fix will occur. I really don’t want to pre-order after today because I may as well just pick up the device Thursday in the store rather than hope it comes before Friday when we leave for a week.

  • Curious to see, since Nexus 6 set the bar, if every Nexus in the future will be released as a “near universal” phone with only two different models (North America and International).

    • it might seem like a few months, but the next nexus won’t be in your mailbox until november/december 🙁

      • True, but other phones will be releasing in the next few months. I’m not necessarily holding out for another Nexus.

    • That’s what I’m trying to do…wait until I can compare the new Nexus 5 refresh (I’m hoping that’s what happens this year), and the OnePlus Two…or maybe another option in the coming months. But the N6 is too expensive for me right now :/

  • Whatever you do, don’t buy the case from skillrex, my phone cracked…nexus 6 64 GB cloud white…good thing I got Motorola insurance and $39 deductible.

    • I got one and my phone is fine..and I take it off a few time already… Is not the case, is on how you take the case off or take care of the phone.

  • Check out swappa, for the 64gb versions they have them for 535 sans tax. I was able to get one for 505 sans tax.
    They’re sealed in box.

    • Probably all the sellers from ebay trying to sell them for $1K when they were scarce

  • I bought a brand new one on ebay for $359 including shipping. Works great, to the people who were telling me on here that it was “too good to be true”

  • Already bought the Nexus 6 for the same price from Tmobile last week. Awesome device! My Google Project Fi Sim card and welcome kit is on its way and should be here tomorrow.

  • Just got my 5.1.1 update for my T-Mo 64 gb Nex 6 this morning, about hours ago. Woo hoo.

    • outgoing….resale value on my Nexus 6 when I go to get something else. 🙁

  • “Deal alert! Grab a Nexus 6 for $150 on Google Store right now. 32GB and 64GB.” – Bait and switch lol

  • Jesus Christ my heart just skipped a beat! I read the title as “NEXUS 6 Only $150”

  • I wish they sold the Verizon version. I just bought it full retail from Verizon for $600. However, I used an early upgrade to get an iPhone 6 that I sold for $600. So it’s kind of a wash, but I wish we had other options to buy the Verizon sanctioned version.

None of my lines had an upgrade, but Verizon was offering an early upgrade only to the iPhone. On top of that they were offering $200 off the upgrade price, so I was able to get an iPhone 6 64GB for $100 and then turn around and sell it for $600. So in essence my Nexus 6 cost me $100. I could have gotten the iPhone 6 16GB for free, but I figured it would be a little more difficult to sell a 16GB phone to make it worth it.

      • Yes, but they don’t show up online as a recognized device. I didn’t want to have any problems in the future with my grandfathered unlimited data for $10 a month plan. I know they technically work, but I don’t want to give Verizon any reason to mess with my plan.

        • i have no problems and bought mine direct from Motorola in December, wayyyyyy before VZW even carried it. All you need is an activated Micro SIM. Actually to be honest, pretty sure it’ll work. they can not mess with your plan when activating a different phone.

          • Yeah, it probably would have been totally fine, but I just didn’t want to take a risk when at the time I bought it, it was actually $50 cheaper from Verizon.

    • Bought an unlocked version and have no problems running on Verizon at all. Running M just fine w/ HD Voice and everything.

      • Yeah, I’m sure it works fine, but as I said in another comment, just didn’t want to take a chance with my unlimited data plan.

        • Yeah, they finally added the IMEIs. I have unlimited, too, they’ll take it from dead cold hands.

          • Are you saying they added IMEIs from the Google Play and Motorola bought phones? So they show up correctly online now?

          • not so much that they show up correctly, but people who don’t have unlimited can get their discounts and can change their plan without having to put their sim into a different phone. Doesn’t really affect us because we have unlimited, but it’s a step in the right direction.

  • Surprised there isn’t some sort of metric about how many inches of phone you get per $ out there. Sort of like the people buying Legos price each set as the price per brick.

  • This will likely be the regular “sale” price for this device going forward.
