According to a whole flock of DL readers who own the Moto X (2nd gen) “Pure Edition,” an update to Android 5.1 is rolling out as software version 23.11.14 in the US. This is big news, as Motorola had previously only announced that the update was rolling out in Brazil, with US devices set to receive it later on.
This update does wonderful things with notifications, adds a Chop Twice motion for launching the flashlight, improves device protection and the camera, also improves ART Runtime, and more. You can see the full list of changes at this post.
In order to check for the update, head into Settings>About phone.
