There is no shortage of wallpapers out there for those of us who can’t get enough of theming our devices, but there comes a time when we need some form of consolidation for the torrent of options. One example is a personal favorite, Roman Nurik‘s Muzei live wallpaper. The latest, Behang, comes from wallpaper wizard knokfirst, whose work you may have seen featured in icon packs such as Lumos, among other places.

Behang looks to place all of the developer’s wallpapers into one app for easy access, and does so quite elegantly. Images are stored online so as to not increase the application size with unwanted pictures, which allows Behang to stay under a ridiculously small 1MB.

The wallpapers cover a variety of themes. You’ll see pastels with soft-focus, splashy abstract pieces, options to support your favorite custom ROM, and even a few sports team papers. It’s all over the place, but that’s kind of a good thing here. You really shouldn’t have an issue finding a wallpaper that will look great on your device.

The app even features Android 4.4’s Immersive Mode, something that can definitely be appreciated considering how underused that feature is. Rounding out the features is compatibility for every Android version 2.1 or higher — we generally don’t see developers go out of their way to support even Android 2.2, Froyo, so Eclair support is nice for those of you unfortunate enough to be stuck there.

Behang will run you $1.99 on the Play Store, which may seem like a steep price with little justification, but the cost includes many high quality wallpapers as well. For those of you who’d prefer to just have the wallpapers and not the app, the developer has made them available for free on his website.

Go check it out.
