We haven’t heard all that much from HTC in the tablet game, but this new trademark filing for the word “SCRIBE” is a sign that they are ready to take flight.  There are a few rumors in the wild that suggest HTC could have multiple tablets in 2011, but other than that, the details have been locked up tight.  And how do we know that SCRIBE is even a tablet?  Well because the trademark says, “Handheld wireless device, namely, a tablet computer.”  Of course, we have no idea if this will be Android, but one would assume so.

HTC has an open house next Thursday at CES and we’re hoping to see this new player in action.  Or they could just show off the HTC Thunderbolt since their event follows Verizon’s 4G LTE press gathering.  Check out our exclusive pics of the device here.
