For you Twitter users drooling over Google+‘s extensive photo posting, editing, and tagging features, Twitter has announced today that mobile users will now be able to tag faces and upload up to four pictures per tweet. Finally.

The first feature is the ability to tag up to 10 people in one picture with Twitter usernames, without wasting your precious 140 characters. Tagged users will be notified just like a mention, plus the interface to tag people is fairly simple.

The second feature being added allows users to upload up to four images per Tweet, up from the previous limitation of just one. The pictures are turned into a collage of sorts, and can be viewed on mobile, desktop, and embedded clients.

The new features are rolling out on iOS first (ugh), but we’ll be seeing them on desktop and Android soon.
