This morning, we have a new addition to announce to the site that we think you will find great value in over the coming months and years – it’s a new Droid Life Deals section that will constantly evolve and grow, as our never ending need for discounted things increases. For years, we have had an accessory store attached to the site, but as we have come to realize that many of you care more about bundled software deals and flash sales on accessories, a Deals section seemed like it would be a great add-on to the site.
So, Droid Life Deals was born!
Our goal is to bring exclusive deals on the hottest Android and tech gear/gadgets, accessories, and software. Obviously, we want the focus to be on things you can use with your Android devices, but there are other general tech goodies spread throughout the store. For example, you can find a Galaxy S5 wireless charger for $39, or a 15,000mAh battery pack for $35. There are bundles for the future programmers in the building who want to start making their own apps, free games, Bluetooth shower speakers, and more. There is quite the range of offerings, actually.
We will promote the best deals here and there as we see fit on the front page of the site and through social media accounts. Don’t worry, we won’t spam – we know you know where to look for deals. If you want to cruise around the store, there is a dedicated “Deals” link at the top of the site. You will also find access through a widget over in the right sidebar (coming soon).
To celebrate the launch, we are offering up a 10% coupon code for the first week of purchases. At checkout, simply use the code DROIDLIFE and you should see the price reduced on your order.

If the store looks familiar, that’s because it is being powered by StackSocial, a company that specializes in bringing deals to the web. They have been in the game doing Mac-related promos for some time, but want to bring their deal-making expertise over to the Android side of things as well. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if you have purchased something from one of their stores in the past.
To help our deals section continue to evolve into products that you would regularly consider buying, StackSocial and the DL team only ask that you share opinions with us. That could be at the bottom of this post or on future deals. The best way for us to continue to offer items of value, is to have your input.

There are so many risks associated with currency and financial system
stability. For us, there is a solution – a new world cryptocurrency
TiNeGe. Now this currency is absolutely free hand out. On their website
you can download the purse and get 100 TNG.
For those who do not know, the new world currency vengeance already handed
out to all the people absolutely free. Called TiNeGe..
Whoa! What’s that white Portal-lookin’ robot popping out of a unknown Samsung-esque tablet on the left next to Flappy Bird?
Don’t listen to the negativity kellex. I love the deals. You’re doing good stuff.
Wrong move, Kellex. The reason why I stop’d visiting PocketNow is this only. I fully agree with Scott Smith.
Holy affiliate marketing Batman!!
Boom. Just got a couple battery packs, get paid DL!
No tax and free shipping?!?!?! Coupon worked once I signed up and created an account! Here is proof!
Just please don’t go crazy pimping stuff that isn’t really much of a deal. If we see you pushing stuff just because you want to earn your referral commission, we will start going elsewhere for our Android news. I’m already skeptical how great these “deals” will be given that you have only linked to 1 Stack Social item in the past, and that was a Humble Bundle.
As if the incredibly intrusive advertising scheme wasn’t annoying enough, the staff here now want to trick us out into their own digital hos with affiliate marketing. I think the only thing that attracted me to this blog in the first place was the user friendly WordPress layout they use and the commenting system. Well, almost every blog now uses Disqus so that doesn’t matter anymore and I can make due with Android Police’s hideous design in light of their more intelligent reader base and, more importantly, editors.
What just lost me as a reader was this Stack Social-pimp out of their readers. Is the money going into getting them more interns like the Rithvik kid who argued with readers in the comments? What about going into Ron’s pockets to fund his new iPhone and Apple Watch purchases?
Call me crazy but I am not contributing to that and there are much better writers, reporters out there than the *majority* of the DL staff who are focusing purely on Android and don’t just regurgitate every other Android link via Google Alerts.
Awesome!!
I’ve been with you guys since the early days of the OG Droid (was that really winter of 2009?)… it has been great to see your humble blog grow into what it is today. Congratulations on all of your success.
you guys sold accessories? /s
Nice. Been noticing some of the other Android blogs doing the same thing recently
Just please promise that you won’t go the way of Woot, where you start off offering awesome deals on cool gadgets then it just turns into blah….
The problem is that awesome deals don’t come up often, most are pretty meh.
Just tried to buy the $14 car mount (going to build a wireless charging car doc with one of my Nokia Qi chargers), and the promo code doesn’t seem to work. It stays grayed out after I put in “DROIDLIFE”. Does that mean it isn’t working?
Jordan from Stack Social here – just tested the coupon code again and confirmed that it is working. You need to hit the “Apply” button next to the coupon code field in order to apply the 10% discount to the total in your cart.
Yeah I hit it many times and it’s unresponsive.
Running Chrome on Nexus 7 2013. The Apply button is small and gray, nothing changes when I tap it.
You have to login to an account first. I had the same issue.
Ok, that worked. Thanks.
I wondered if that was the issue. But it’s a terrible design choice to do it that way.
Same here. It works once you’re logged in.
Next thing you know Droid Life is competing with Amazon
Is there 10% off for moto360?
Would be awesome. Maybe some day. 😛
yeah, use the code “JUSTBECAUSE” to get 10% off
Tried something like that on launch day, didn’t work. But I tried “JUSTBECAUSE10” which was from marketing email from Moto I got a few months ago.
Oh wow!you deleted my post. Thank you for being such a dick.
woo!!! We’re stepping into the big leagues!
Droid Life is taking over my… life?
Looks good
