A day before Google I/O this year, JBL unveiled Link Bar, an Android TV-powered sound bar equipped with 100W of speaker power and Google Assistant. At that time, no pricing or exact availability info was known, but thanks to an early pre-order listing on B&H Photo, we now know that the sound bar will cost $399.95 and is expected to launch October 16.

As we discussed when it was first unveiled, Link Bar is essentially like any other Android TV set-top box, but in the body of a fancy sound bar. It features 4 HDMI ports, ethernet, 3.5mm port, as well as a microphone for hands-free control. With that mic, you’ll be able to control all aspects of your smart home, thanks to the Google Assistant integration with Android TV.

We still have a bit to go before October rolls around, but there you go.
