DEAL: Galaxy S8 and S8+ are Still Up to $300 Off ($150 Discount + $150 Trade)

Just over two weeks ago, Samsung kicked off its latest mega-discount-promo on the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ that gets you up to an instant $300 off. I’m happy to report that the deal is still live, though I’d be surprised if it lasts much longer.

The deal works pretty simply. Samsung is handing out a $150 discount just because, but then will take off another instant $150 if you trade-in a particular device. That trade-in discount does indeed happen upfront, rather than later down the road. In order to make sure it stays off, you’ll send in your trade with a return label included in the box with your new Galaxy S8 as it arrives. It’s about the best instant discount deal we’ve seen in recent years and Samsung is showing no signs of slowing down on these types of offers.

Right now, if you take advantage, you could get into an unlocked Galaxy S8 for as little as $425 or the Galaxy S8+ for $525. There are carrier models available too, but if the unlocked versions are cheaper, I’d recommend them. Remember, Samsung is actually updating them properly this year (so far) and they work on all US carriers.

The list of acceptable trades includes devices like the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, S6, or S7, the iPhone SE, 5, 6, 6s or 7 Plus, LG’s G4, G5, or G6, and the Google Pixel and Pixel XL. I’d imagine there is a good chance that most of you have one of these.
