Google Doubles Capacity of Play Music Libraries to 50K Songs

Good news for Google Play Music users today, as the company has doubled your music library capacity from 25,000 songs to 50,000. Boom. And better yet, it is all free. Google is bringing more value to the service, which now trumps offers from other competitors like Spotify and Apple.

Just to be clear, this offer is for both paid subscribers and users of the free Google Music service. Paid subscribers gain access to millions of songs for streaming and radio, while free Music users are limited to songs that they themselves must upload to the cloud. But still, free storage for 50,000 songs is quite impressive.

As you can see in the screenshot I took of my account below, the change has already gone through.
