The Android platform distribution was updated this morning for the month of February with Kit Kat (Android 4.4) still holding the majority of usage at 39.7%, up from 39.1% the previous month. A newcomer is also present on this month’s page, that being Android 5.0 Lollipop. While still being rather new to the party, it currently sits at 1.6% of users.
The rest of the versions of Android all dropped, just like they have been for months. Jelly Bean is down to 44.5% (from 46%), Ice Cream Sandwich to 6.4%, and Gingerbread to 7.4%.
