Sony has announced the release of two new products to bolster its SmartWear Experience lineup. The SmartBand Talk and SmartWatch 3 are both designed to improve, as well as enrich your life.

Both products are able to communicate with Sony’s Lifelog, an app which aims to track and store your ever-waking moments. Beyond tracking your fitness goals, the Android app seeks to understand and create stories based on moments of your life. Coming later in 2014, there will be a web interface and open API, allowing more experiences and personalization opportunities.

SmartBand Talk has a curved, always-on 1.4″ e-paper display, offering a quick glance at the time or notifications. This lifelogger provides call handling for when your phone is out of reach, with the ability to talk to and hear your caller. The band is waterproof (IP68 rated) and will come in two styles intially, Black and White. More colors should be available later in the year.

SmartWatch 3 is Sony’s latest generation SmartWatch, designed specifically for the latest Android Wear updates. The watch includes a 1.6” 320×320 TFT LCD Transflective display with a stainless steel back panel. The watch is waterproof (IP68) and charges via microUSB. With built-in 4GB of storage, music can be stored on the device so that you can leave your smartphone at home during a run. It will be available in Classic (Black) and Sport (Lime) editions, with extra color straps available in Pink and White after launch.
