It has been a while since we have heard anything from the Paranoid Android team who introduced Halo early last year. Their floating notification system was a huge hit in the ROM community, but since then we have had a new version of Android launch. Android 4.4 Kit Kat brought some new design ideas and that means a new Halo for us.

Details are scarce, but Paranoid Android took to its Google+ page this morning to post this teaser image of what we can come to expect, and man does it look good. Halo made a big splash last year by being one of the first floating notification systems to be built into a ROM that offered lots of different uses. By adding the slight transparency that is prevalent throughout Kit Kat, the design of Halo can adapt to whatever you are looking at on your screen.

Paranoid Android promised that there will be more details on the way, you can bet that we will pass those along as soon as we can.
