Officially Licensed Firefly Game to Hit Android in 2014

Based on the cult hit TV show Firefly, an announcement out of this year’s San Diego Comic Con confirms that an officially licensed Firefly game is coming to iOS and Android device sometime in 2014. The game will be a social online role-playing game that takes place in space, as you take command of a space ship and find yourself a crew. After that, it’s off to find work for your crew and to trade supplies with other online players.

    I fear that this is going to be similar to a farmville or a playdom game. It looks cool, but I already play MAA 😛

    Thank goodness that it looks like Gameloft is not involved in this project; trained monkeys could produce better code than that group.

    Bummed that this is not hitting the PC market. I’d even settle for a console game.

    why in god’s name is this a mobile game!!?? With a universe like Firefly’s they could’ve made a truly epic space-faring MMO, and instead i get to play it on a 4 inch screen with visible polygons!??

          Why not both? I have a 4″, 7″, & 10″ and I will gladly play it on all 3 if it supports proper online game saving.

            For those of us who don’t have the money….. And 10″ isn’t good enough. How about 24″…. With good graphics, yeah that sounds good.
