T-Mobile Says Android 4.4.3 is Coming to the Nexus 5 Today (Updated: Nexus 7 and Nexus 4 Too)

According to T-Mobile support, the Nexus 5 will receive an update to Android 4.4.3 starting today. The update includes “security enhancements” and “various bug fixes.” The build number is KTU84M. And that is about all we know.

The Android 4.4.3 update has seemingly been in the works for a few months, with supposed rollout said to happen “at any minute” a couple of times.

Update:  T-Mobile says the Nexus 7 (2013) is getting Android 4.4.3 today as well, build KTU84L. Cheers BiggiePhat!

Download: Android 4.4.2 OTA Update for Nexus 5, Nexus 4, Nexus 10, and Nexus 7 (2013)

Well, that escalated quickly. Google is rolling out OTA updates for Nexus devices to Android 4.4.2, and we have download links for you. The only ones we have yet to see are downloads for the Nexus 7 2012, both WiFi and HSPA+ models. Once they become available, we will add them to the list.

Android 4.4.2 Rolling Out to Nexus 5 and Nexus 7, Possibly More (Updated)

We received a report a moment ago from a reader who was notified to update his Nexus 7 (2012) to Android 4.4.2 (build KOT49H). We’re still awaiting more info from him, but a user on reddit and another on XDA also are confirming the arrival of yet another update.

We should point out that Sprint support is showing that the Nexus 5 is due an update to build KRT49H (pretty sure it’s KOT49H) today, which is a build we have yet to see. The Nexus 5 just received its Android 4.4.1 update last week as build KOT49E(more…)

Quick Look: Official Nexus Wireless Charger for Nexus 5, 7, and 4

Did you pick up the official Nexus Wireless Charger that went on sale through Google Play yesterday? I can imagine that the $49.99 price tag made some of you hesitate on pulling on the trigger, so as always, we picked one (or two) up to give it a quick spin and share our thoughts. For those not familiar, the Nexus Wireless Charger (NWC) is officially supported by the Nexus 5, Nexus 7 (2013), and Nexus 4, since each has wireless charging built-in. With that said, I would be surprised if this charger didn’t work with other wireless charging-capable devices like the new DROID line. Unfortunately, we don’t have those in house any longer, so we won’t be able to test.
