T-Mobile’s HTC One Sees Small Update, Available for Download Today

htc one3

The HTC One for Verizon may not be coming out for another couple of months, but other carriers already have it in customer’s hands and are pushing out updates. If you have the One on T-Mobile, you can start checking for a small update to pull down to your device.

The update is only 18 MB and the single thing listed in T-Mobile’s changelog is “Visual Voicemail performance.” Even with the tiny update, T-Mo won’t let you start the process unless your battery is above 50%, just in case. The roll out is scheduled for today, so if you really need your Visual Voicemail to be fixed, keep checking throughout the day.

A small update hit today for all GALAXY NOTE 2 owners as well. A nice enhancement update. It’s definitely a great day on T-Mobile….4.2.2 is coming real soon before June 17th….

The update fixes the sensitivity of the capacitive buttons as well.

Anyone else running Android Revolution HD 10? Any issues?

Been running it for a day now and it seems solid as a rock. 4.2.2 with Sense. Loving it so far.

    T-Mo should probably just push this… 😉

I’ll have to check this out. I’ve been looking for a good 4.2.2 ROM. I’m running a CM nightly right now, and it’s actually pretty awesome. I do find myself missing some sense elements, and the bluetooth connection seems to take a bit longer than stock.

Like I said, so far, all seems to be good. It really seems like an HTC 4.2.2 stock experience.

          Excellent. Downloading now.

            Two things:

Do not use the touchscreen during install. The Aroma installer has issues with that. Use volume buttons to move up and down, and power button to select.

Second, that first boot takes an ice-age and a half. Don’t get ansty and hard-reset the device. Just wait…(and wait..and wait…) It’ll boot eventually. Future restarts are *much* faster…that first one just seems to take an eon or two.

Wow, thanks for the tips! The long first boot is good to know. I would have been paranoid that something had gone wrong. I’ll keep it in mind when I install.

    Today is HTC One day.

Too bad it’s not the 1st of June.
