Official Launch Trailer For Angry Birds Star Wars Released, Just a Few More Days

This will be the last time we talk about Angry Birds Star Wars until it launches, I promise you that. This morning, Rovio released the officially official launch trailer for the game that is set to release on November 8. They have hyped this game more than any other game I can remember, releasing teaser trailer, after gameplay trailer, after more gameplay trailers

In this one, we get a good look at almost all of the different birds/characters and see all of their powers. It looks like a fun game, plus there is even a Millennium Falcon sighting near the end which is pretty bossy.

“They have hyped this game more than any other game I can remember…”

Same could be said for Droid Life. Are you guys getting paid for these “stories” or do you own stock in Rovio?

What if Disney bought Angry Birds….Heck they bought Lucas Arts

This is certainly looking to be the best AB yet. Could be biased though as I love SW.

I wish Lucas Arts would Just rerelease all the games they have made over the years on all platforms and sell them in the Play store. The games are made, just port them to android and make more money.

I could see this being a handheld controller game.

This is the game I’ve been looking for!

I may be in the minority but I do not see the appeal of the Angry Birds series anymore (at least long term). All the games are pretty redundant.

Especially releasing this game in the week of Halo 4…well, that wasn’t a smart move. But then again they are probably mostly catering to the “casual” Android/iOS fan and not of the Hardcore variety.

I was skeptic at first, but after seeing a full blown trailer of everything that you’ll encounter and everything you can do in Angry Birds Star Wars, I will admit it looked pretty cool. But I won’t download it if there isn’t a PAID version. Seriously…No Paid Version = No Can Do.

    In-game ads FTL!

They have to try and make money back on this somehow. There must be a paid version or this investment on their part was for nothing lol

      • EvanTheGamer

This is true. But was just thinking about how with Bad Piggies there was no paid version(only versions with ads), didn’t like that one bit. Ads are annoying and distracting. But we shall see. I hope there’s a full HD version for tablets(I’d pay $2.99).

          Root + Adaway = No ads…ever

          • EvanTheGamer

Tried that…didn’t work with a damn. Might need RE-ROM my G-Nex…could be why…my phone is a bit cluttered atm.

          • T4rd

Indeed. If they don’t give me an option to pay for no ads, then I have no moral issue with blocking their ads.

Amazon has a paid version of Bad Piggies.

          • EvanTheGamer

Ohh…guess I overlooked that. My mistake. But there is no paid version of Bad Piggies on Google Play, which is the only ‘store’ that counts anyways.

I think I’m as excited as my kids to give it a whirl.
