Rovio was at Comic-Con this week, teasing its newest upcoming title, Angry Bird Transformers. The game has yet to be given a release date, having been first teased back in June, but we guess it will arrive sometime in the Fall of this year. After coming down from its Star Wars partnership, it will be interesting to see if Rovio can continue momentum for its Angry Birds titles with the Transformers franchise. (more…)
A week or so ago, Rovio began teasing and soft releasing a new Angry Birds title, named Angry Birds Epic. The game is already available for those of you who live in Australia, New Zealand, and Canada, but for the rest of us, we are still waiting to see what exactly to expect from AB: Epic.
From what we see in the trailer for the game that was released today, it’s a role-playing game, one which will take your forces of either birds or piggies, and then pit them against one another in a fictional world where these things are plausible. (more…)
The second rendition of SEGA’s Sonic All-Stars Racing hit Google Play last night, titled All-Stars Racing Transformed. The game costs $4.99 through Google Play, quite the price tag for a kart racer. The game is much like the original Sonic Racing title for Android, as you can play many of your favorite characters throughout many different levels. Better yet, SEGA states that in a future update, an “ultimate multiplayer” experience will launch, which should definitely give you your money’s worth. (more…)
Long lost fans of Mario Kart, a potential new addiction has arrived on Android in the form of Angry Birds GO! Angry Birds GO!, the Mario Kart-esque title from Rovio, will officially arrive December 11. The game will be free, as are most Angry Birds titles, and features “high-octane downhill racing, upgradable karts, tons of characters with unique special powers and a fully rendered 3D world.”
The gameplay trailer below really does remind us of Mario Kart in a way, but also upgraded thanks to better graphics and the ability to upgrade karts or pick-up super powers. There are also at least 12 different characters to choose from, though I couldn’t tell you off hand who I would go for, but still know to this day that Yoshi was my boy on Mario Kart.
Mark your calendars, Angry Birds may be back in your life at least for a minute or two. (more…)

The Sith lords look to have some awesome powers, so don’t be afraid to try out the Dark Side. (more…)
