  • There are third party camera apps that support HDR, granted I’ve only used them a few times so not sure how they compare.

    • You aren’t missing much. It works on my SGS3 but the final processed image is always so blurry that it’s not worth the trouble.

  • Just keep in mind that this feature is only available through CM’s own modified camera and that it does not (at least on my Galaxy Nexus) support both HDR and Photosphere. If you are using the camera/gallery app (gallerygoogle.apk) from the G-apps you flashed with CM then the feature will not be there. The easiest way to get it is to move or delete gallerygoogle.apk from /system/app before updating CM and after you will see CM’s camera/gallery app in it’s place (gallery2.apk).

  • For those of you with a GN, if you flashed Gapps to get picasa/G+ sync back, then you won’t see this in your camera.

Go to system/apps, delete googlegallery.apk, and then flash the ROM again to get the HDR stuff, but you’ll lose sync.
