  • Lets make it available for a tablet that was released days ago! The hell with the Nexus 10 and Nexus 7.

  • “Currently only available for on one device”
Anyone else think “Please be the Xoom, Please be the Xoom, Please be the Xoom.”

My thought, but then i realized i don’t use twitter on my phone, so no biggie…

  • Just putting this out there, but I’ve had this on my old Note 10.1 for probably half a month now.

      • Correct. Haven’t come across any bugs personally, but then again I don’t use it much on my tablet anyway.

    • I’d rather use my Motorola Xoom than a 10″ tablet with Touchwiz. I like Touchwiz on phones, but I don’t love it. Tablets, though? Meh.

        • The hardware buttons don’t matter to me. I have a Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition and the hardware buttons just remind me of my old Nexus S, which is fine. I like software buttons too. I’m indifferent really. I don’t one provides a better or wise user experience than the other.

    • No joke, we now have 3 twitter experiences on android. Production, Beta, and Twitter Tablet. All with 3 unique UIs

    • Ironically i gave up the Twitter 5.0 beta for the time being because, though it works on the vast majority of Android tablets, for some reason it doesn’t work on the Motorola Xoom with the stock ROM. It gives me push notifications, I can view tweets, I can use the widget, but if I I just go into the app like usual and hit the main screen (where you can swipe left/right to choose tweets, interactions, etc.), the app simply closes and that’s the end. No force close notification or anything like that. It just opens, then closes. The end. It’s been like that forever now. I hope they get that fixed by the time 5.0 goes public. The Xoom runs stock Android 4.1.2 from Google, so it shouldn’t necessarily be an issue with the ROM on the Xoom side.
