Samsung October updates are rolling out to the Galaxy S25 series, as well as the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. The updates appear to be minor without major changes and should just bring each device up to current October security patch levels.
There are 7 devices in total seeing this new October update, which allows them to join the Galaxy S26 series and the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series in being up-to-date. Now that everyone has been updated to One UI 9 in recent weeks, this monthly security patch is likely all we will see for a while. Of course, we’ll start tracking the possibility of a One UI 9.5 update as soon as we can.
For this new update, Verizon says it “provides the most up-to-date Android security patches for your device.” That is all their changelog mentions, which is pretty typical wording for a monthly update.
