Android Q Beta 4

Date: June 2019
Build: QPP4.190502.018
Emulator support: x86 (32/64-bit)
Security patch level: June 2019
Google Play services: 17.4.55

If you’d like to test or load this onto your supported Pixel device in the easiest way possible, head over to the Android Beta site and sign-up. Once the update is made available there, you’ll get it as a system update, just like you would any other update.

  • UPDATE: The over-the-air Q Beta 4 is already live! No need to flash files, friends.
  • UPDATE 2: Google paused the update after some users ran into installation issues.
  • UPDATE JUNE 11: We’ve got new builds that are replacing the original Beta 4 builds and should address installation issues. Everyone gets this new build, so be on the lookout.

If you’d like to manually flash the files instead of waiting for the over-the-air update, you can download the Beta 4 images right here. Instructions on how to flash a factory image can be found here.
