NVIDIA Will Trade You Your Old Tech for $20 Off a SHIELD TV

NVIDIA quietly launched a trade-up program for SHIELD TV recently, offering potential buyers $20 off their SHIELD TV purchase if they trade in a select piece of tech. For example, if you have an old Chromecast device or video doorbell you’re no longer using, NVIDIA will give you $20 for it so you can buy a SHIELD TV.

For some products, like a Chromecast Gen 2, it’s not a bad deal. For other accepted products, like an Xbox One console, it’s not so great. However, NVIDIA is accepting a ton of different products for the offer. We’re seeing almost any Roku device, Nintendo gaming devices, Sony devices, Nest thermostats, plus plenty more.

You can view the entire list of accepted items here. It’s entirely up to you if whatever you’re trading in is only worth $20 off of a SHIELD TV.
