Google just dropped the final Android P Developer Preview on us, also known as Android P Developer Preview 5. The files are available right now for the Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2, and Pixel 2 XL if you feel like flashing them. Otherwise, we should have Android P Beta 4 here shortly.

UPDATE: The beta is now live! You can grab it by heading into Settings>System>Advanced>System update.

This new Android P build is available as PPP5.180610.010 for all devices and includes the July security patch.

Android P DP5 Release Notes

API level 28
Date: July 2018
Build: PPP5.180610.010
Emulator support: x86 & ARM (32/64-bit)
Security patch level: July 2018
Google Play services: 12.4.46

This is the final Android P Developer Preview before we get final Android P in August and should be the most stable. It is labeled as a release candidate that includes final APIs and system behaviors. It’s also stable enough that Google isn’t really listing any general advisories for it that you should be aware of. If you’ve been holding off from flashing or joining the beta, now would be a decent time to give it a shot.

You can grab the files right here (factory images) and here (OTA) or wait for the Android Beta file to start rolling out.
