Having just released Hitman: GO to Google Play yesterday, Square Enix is not done dropping news quite yet. This morning, the game company announced Hitman: Sniper, an intense shooter with emphasis on the “subtlety of execution.”

With a tag like that, it’s a safe bet this won’t be a title for the kids.

The game isn’t expected to launch until later this year, but in a blog posted to the official Hitman website, Square Enix goes into detail as to what mobile gamers should expect from the title.

You’ll need to have your wits about you to complete scenario-driven contracts that contain a number of targets and assignments. Each one is designed to have a high level of replayability, not only to fine-tune your approach but to explore creative alternatives and to achieve the ultimate score on the leaderboards.

The game will launch later this year free of charge for multiple platforms. IAPs will be available for the players who wish to customize their gaming experience. For example, if you wish to upgrade your rifle without unlocking boosts in-game, then you may do so.

However, they are specific that everything you can buy will be unlockable by simply advancing in the game. Basically, if you want to be lazy, you can buy whatever you want.

Once it hits Google Play, we will let you know.
