This year’s edition of the Assassin’s Creed series takes place in the clear water of the Caribbean Sea, but why limit all the fun just to consoles? Ubisoft has been readying a mobile version of the game simply called Assassin’s Creed Pirates and the release is sooner than we thought. You can set sail on your tablet or phone starting the first week of December.

In Pirates, you won’t be jumping from the shadows and killing people like in the console Assassin’s Creed games. Instead, naval combat will be the focus and building your ship and crew will decide how you fair out on the ocean waters. You take control of Alonzo Batilla in his quest to rule the Caribbean, and while it might not be tied directly into the story of AC: Black Flag, you can expect there to be a few hints here and there to the console game.

Assassin’s Creed Pirates will be available for download on December 5 for $4.99.
