This morning, Verizon hosted an online-only press event to announce a bunch of new The Verizon Plan options, a redesigned app, and new features, like
Rollover Carryover Data. We reported on all of this news through various stories over the past week, but Verizon has confirmed it all. As we exclusively reported last week, this all goes live tomorrow, July 7.
The details of everything are as follows. (more…)
Last week, thanks to promo pages that surfaced on Verizon’s Testman site, we learned a handful of details about upcoming changes that Big Red would soon introduce. Those changes are as follows. (more…)
Back in December, Verizon ran a promo that would land you an extra 2GB of bonus data per month per line for life. All you needed to do to get the 24GB of extra data each year was sign-up or be on an XL or XXL plan and then upgrade to or activate a new phone. Today, that promo returns for a limited time. (more…)
This morning, Verizon announced a new XXL option that will join the S-M-L-XL choices of its still newish “The Verizon Plan.” The XX-Large option includes 18GB of shareable data for $100 per month. That’s a decent deal if you compare it to AT&T’s $100 option, which only has 15GB of data. (more…)

The full details can be found below. (more…)
Less than a month after T-Mobile made Uncarrier 8.0 moves that included Data Stash, a plan feature that we referred to as “Rollover for data,” AT&T has decided it wants in on the idea as well. This morning, AT&T announced Rollover Data. (more…)
On October 16, Verizon has a few changes to introduce to its Edge monthly device payment plan and a couple for its MORE Everything plans. According to multiple sources, we are looking at a bump from 20 to 24 monthly payments on Edge, a higher percentage of the device needing pay-off before an upgrade can occur, and bigger per line discounts if on Edge. Verizon is also adjusting its single line plans, moving them back to their original $60 and $75 price points.
Below are the details. (more…)
