It’s Friday and you know what that means – it’s time to answer our reader-submitted questions! This week, many of you decided to go a more personal route and we would love nothing more than for all of you to get a greater sense of who we are as individuals. We even decided to throw in a few pictures of our “offices.” Thanks for the great questions, everybody. Let’s do this!
Droid Life Q&A Session: Volume 4 Answers
Droid Life Q&A Session: Volume 4
It’s been far too long since our last Q&A session, so here we are. Since our last entry, we’ve seen pigs fly (Motorola starting to unlock bootloaders), Verizon’s Galaxy S3 had its bootloader unlocked, and tons of other Android awesomeness.
If you aren’t familiar with our Q&A sessions, think of them as your opportunity to ask the Droid Life staff anything. How we’ve been keeping cool in this summer heat, what we’re hoping to see at CES 2013, or even ask us to kindly show off more pictures/video of our beloved pets. As always, please feel free to shoot your Android questions in too. We love helping out our readers.
Check back on Friday to see if your question gets answered.
Droid Life Q&A Session: Volume 3 Answers
Here is the fourth installment of our Q&A sessions. On Monday, we asked you all to submit your questions for the DL team and as usual, you came through in a big way. Who would have thought that the color of this site would be a talking point? Thanks for the great questions, everybody. Let’s get to it.
Droid Life Q&A Session: Volume 3
We took a few weeks off from our bi-weekly Q&A sessions, but are back to finish out the month of July. Since our last special I/O edition, we have seen the Nexus 7 arrive to many customers, Jelly Bean rollout to every Nexus device other than the Verizon LTE Galaxy Nexus, dealt with locked bootloaders on the Galaxy S3, and more. It’s been busy, to say the least, so let’s talk about it all.
If you aren’t familiar with our Q&A sessions, think of them as your opportunity to ask the Droid Life staff anything. Ask us about the importance of unlockable bootloaders, how we feel about the Nexus 7 a couple of weeks in, or why nothing will be better than multiple Nexus phones this winter. You can even go semi-personal if you want. We are human beings after all and like food, swanky cocktails, music and traveling. Anything in particular you were curious about?
Droid Life Q&A Session: I/O Edition Answers
We are a week removed from Google I/O 2012, can you believe it? A full week of Jelly Bean tips and tricks, Nexus 7 overviews, and Nexus Q confusion is officially behind us. So let’s talk about in this special edition Q&A session that focused on the magic that went down 9 days ago. We’ll talk about about those three items, but also a Nexus 10, if Train was any good in person, and when the rest of you will see the update to Android 4.1.
Droid Life Q&A Session: Google I/O Edition
As most of you know, we spent all of last week in San Francisco, attending Google I/O. We haven’t had a chance to fully reflect on it yet, so since this happens to be one of our Q&A session weeks, we thought you could all help us do that. Rather than the normal Android chatter that these sessions tend to focus on, this week it will be all about the I/O experience, our thoughts, and what we did while we were there. So as usual, you can ask us whatever you’d like, but try to make it somewhat relevant to last week’s fun. You can ask for our opinions on the Nexus 7, Jelly Bean, or the Q if you’d like. You can quiz us on what sights we saw or restaurants we frequented. Have at it in the comments below.
Droid Life Q&A Session: Volume 2 Answers
It’s time for the second installment of our Q&A sessions. On Monday, we asked everyone to submit their second round of questioning for our staff, resulting in tons of fantastic questions from all of you. We have gone through them and have chosen ten that we have answered below.
For reference, you’ll see answers from everyone on the team by their first initial K (Kellen), T (Tim), E (Eric), and R (Ron). We had a ton of fun not only reading through the questions, but answering as well and are looking forward to doing this more often. We hope you enjoy.
The Droid Life Q&A Session: Volume 2
Two weeks ago, we announced a new feature called the “Droid Life Q&A Session” which gave the DL community the chance to ask our team anything that they had been dying to get feedback on. While we toss out opinions and flavor here and there, we still try to do our best to provide you with straight up news. These Q&A sessions though, through your questions, are a way for us to let loose a bit and you inside the minds of this whacky team.
The idea here is pretty simple. You toss out questions in the comments, and by Friday, we grab a handful and answer them as a team. These could be industry related and about today’s Apple conference and why we laugh the entire time that their execs are on stage, if we think Google I/O will blow minds or be a dud, whether or not you should buy the Galaxy S3 now or later, etc. You could even go personal and ask Tim what he feeds his wolf pup for breakfast, what Eric’s favorite console game of all time is, if Ron has an opinion on Lindsay Lohan driving a rental Porsche and ramming it into the back of a semi, or how I decide to buy Matrix-like green-checkered shirts?
Ask away! Be sure to come back Friday to see which questions we have picked. To read Volume 1′s answers, check out this post.
