HTC Announces the One Mini, Will Hit Select Markets Starting in August

Yesterday afternoon, HTC took to their Twitter account to tease the announcement of the One Mini. This morning, we finally have the device revealed for the masses. After what seems like months of leaks/speculation/rumors, the device is finally official with market launch set for a yet-to-be-determined date in August. The One Mini features a few of the things that makes the larger One such a desirable device for consumers, but in a smaller 4.3″ package.  (more…)

HTC Tweets One Mini Teaser, Reveal Set for Tomorrow?

It would appear that the time has finally come for HTC to officially unveil the One Mini. While the device has been seen plenty of times and we pretty much know everything there is to know, it’s about darn time. The official HTC UK Twitter account states that the OEM “has a ‘little’ bit of news for tomorrow,” July 18. In the picture, we can clearly see the Mini and its white trimmed edges inside of a pocket. HTC Posts Infographic of “Little Things That Pack a Big Punch,” Could be a One Mini Reference

This morning, HTC posted an infographic of “little things that pack a big punch” to their official blog, which the internet has now decided is a confirmed teaser for the soon-to-be-introduced HTC One Mini. It certainly could be a teaser, if HTC is into that sort of thing. The post does mention that they packed all sorts of technology into the “svelte” package that was the HTC One, and after hearing rave reviews from critics, would like to bring the experience to as many people as possible. They then end the post with a line of “In that spirit, here’s an homage to little things that back a big punch.”

HTC One Max to Reportedly Launch in September, Going Head-to-Head With Samsung


With Samsung all set to reveal the Galaxy Note 3 at this year’s IFA in Berlin, HTC is reportedly to launch its direct competitor, the One Max around the same time. A source of German-based site, Mobile Geeks has confirmed that HTC will make the One Max available in the early part of September, in hopes to steal some of Samsung’s limelight. The One Max is to host a very large 5.9″ 1080 display, as well as feature Sense 5 and the company’s UltraPixel camera technology.  (more…)

More HTC One Mini Pictures and Spec Details Leaked


With a launch of the One Mini from HTC rumored to be penciled in for sometime this summer, we have yet to hear anything official from the company. Thanks to the Internet leakers, we pretty much know every detail of the device, except for which carriers it will end up on. A new set of specifications have been leaked onto the web, highlighted by the One Mini’s UltraPixel (4.1MP) back-facing camera, Android 4.2.2 and a 1.4 GHz Snapdragon 400 processor.  (more…)

HTC One Mini Pictured Next to Big Brother, Will be Released This Summer

The HTC One Mini has been seen here and there, showing itself around the web, teasing us with its small yet elegant looking body. Above, the One Mini is pictured (albeit extra grainy) next its bigger brother, the One. Along with this picture, many details of the device, which is set for launch sometime around Q3, have been confirmed. It does sport a HD 4.3″ display, Sense 5 (BlinkFeed), Android 4.2.2, UltraPixel camera, along with a 1.4GHz dual-core chipset.  (more…)

The One Mini from HTC has been popping up on the web here and there, but there is still nothing official from Taiwan in terms of release dates or anything of that nature. Until that starts happening, we will continue to have to settle for leaked galleries from Mr. Blurry Camera, but in all fairness these newest pictures aren’t even close to some of the bad ones we have seen in the past of previous devices.  (more…)
