Thanks to evleaks, we could be getting our first peak at what the M8 Mini from HTC could have in store for the masses. We have yet to officially see the M8, the successor to the One, as HTC still has not set a date for when it will unveil the new flagship. With Samsung’s Galaxy S5 coming within the next two weeks, HTC better act quick if they want to jump aboard the hypetrain.
According to evleaks, the M8 Mini will be a well-equipped device, even showing signs of a few pretty decent specs. For starters, the phone will reportedly be powered by a Snapdragon 400 processor and 1GB of RAM, feature a 4.5″ 720p display, and come with Android 4.4.2 “Kit Kat” and Sense 6.0. (more…)
After a couple of weeks of quick glimpses, followed by rumors of carrier exclusivity, the HTC One in “Vivid Blue” is now official. As you can see from the pictures, it’s certainly pretty, assuming the device can hold onto that color and not chip or scuff easily. The One Mini will also see a variant in this color.
Both will be available in Q4, though no specific carriers have been mentioned at this time. (more…)
The idea of a fingerprint scanner on your phone is nothing new and you will have a hard time selling a device solely based on that – just ask the Motorola Atrix. Nevertheless, fingerprint scanners seem to be making a comeback in popularity, and today’s picture of the back of the upcoming HTC One Max shows that it might include one as well. (more…)

The One Mini features a few of the things that makes the larger One such a desirable device for consumers, but in a smaller 4.3″ package. (more…)
It would appear that the time has finally come for HTC to officially unveil the One Mini. While the device has been seen plenty of times and we pretty much know everything there is to know, it’s about darn time. The official HTC UK Twitter account states that the OEM “has a ‘little’ bit of news for tomorrow,” July 18. In the picture, we can clearly see the Mini and its white trimmed edges inside of a pocket. So, there you go. (more…)
This morning, HTC posted an infographic of “little things that pack a big punch” to their official blog, which the internet has now decided is a confirmed teaser for the soon-to-be-introduced HTC One Mini. It certainly could be a teaser, if HTC is into that sort of thing. The post does mention that they packed all sorts of technology into the “svelte” package that was the HTC One, and after hearing rave reviews from critics, would like to bring the experience to as many people as possible. They then end the post with a line of “In that spirit, here’s an homage to little things that back a big punch.”
So you tell us if this is a teaser or not. Then, jump through the inforgraphic to catch a Tyrion Lanaster highlight, learn the budget of Paranormal Activity, and who the hottest chili pepper is. (more…)
