Series 3 Android Mini Collectibles Arriving “Late July”

by: | posted 06.08.12 | News

At the end of July, assuming there are no setbacks, we will all have a chance to get our hands on the latest in Android collectibles. According to a blog post over at Dyzplastic, Series 3 is almost done and ready to be manufactured in mass. They had initially hoped to release these in Q2, but with some design changes to improve the series, Andrew Bell and the team wanted to make sure you knew that it’ll be another couple of weeks.

As you can tell from the picture above of the Kronk Ape, this leaked “sneak peak” that made it to retailers in February was on point. Also, you can see the owl in the background, even with the blur.

Excited? I certainly am.

Unreleased Doctor and Tennis Android Mini-collectibles Show Up on eBay

by: | posted 04.17.12 | News

A reader of ours received a shipment of Android mini-collectibles that from what we gathered, have never been released before. The two that he has multiples of are pictured above as a doctor and an athlete/tennis player. He is willing to part with some and has posted them up on eBay in case any of the mini-collectible collectors in the building are interested. Could they be a part of Series 3 or were they axed from previous box sets? Tough to tell, but we definitely want some for our own personal collections.

Series 3 Android Mini Collectibles Leaked?

by: | posted 02.13.12 | News

As Android fanatics, we can’t seem to get enough mini collectibles. From series 1 to the series 2 mystery box to special edition super hero/villain releases, we try our hardest to collect them all. Well, what we have below may be a leaked “sneak peak” of series 3 that was sent to retailers. From the screenshot, you will see that there are still a lot of question marks, so either not all of the designs are finalized or the goal is to make even more a mystery this time around. So far, these designs are looking incredibly promising.

Getting excited over toys feels so wrong, yet so damn good.
