To celebrate Valentine’s Day, Google is offering $6 in Google Play credit for free to all Chromecast owners, with hopes that you would put the money towards a romance comedy to help seduce your special someone. While the gesture is appreciated, you can take the $6 and spend it however you would like – on games, apps, music, etc.
To claim, all you need to do is go to Chromecast’s offer page, make sure you are currently on the same network as your Chromecast (so Google can verify you do in fact own the dongle), then hit “Redeem.” It could not be any easier.
