CES starts in two weeks, so as you can imagine, the few mobile companies that still care about one of the world’s largest electronics shows are trying to build up hype for soon-to-be-unveiled products. Asus is one of them. Through their Facebook page, they teased a new entry into the ZenFone world with a video that wants the world to “see what others can’t see.”

The video is short, showing only a phone flipping from its front side to back, before zooming into the camera lens. With that zooming moment comes the splitting of the phone’s lens into two, almost like what you would see with a 3D sensor. From what we can tell, though, the camera on the back is only a single sensor, so I don’t think this is some sort of re-birth of 3D, but rather a visualization for what the camera could be capable of.

Or maybe Asus really liked the movie Wall-E. You tell me.
