Google and Amazon Both Celebrating Star Wars Day With Sales

It is not quite May 4, known as Star Wars Day, but that has not stopped Google or Amazon from using the force to bring app prices down. For a limited time, at least until we pass May 4, you can grab deals through either outlet on Star Wars-related goodies such as apps, games, books, and more.

Google and Amazon are both currently offering a few Star Wars app that usually feature high-priced IAPs. For the time being, all of the IAP prices have been slashed big time, especially in Tiny Death Star and Star Wars Assault Team.

If books with a lot of words are more your style, Google Play will be your central hub for well-priced Star Wars parchment, with lots of novels up for sale. To top it off, if you own a Kindle tablet, be sure to grab Angry Birds Star Wars Premium for just $0.99.

May the 4th be with you.

  • Im a huge star wars fan…love this ill check to see what books have been slashed….but i hate the new movies and the fact they want to destroy n change the EU…like wtf the EU is perfect as it is and the new jedi order is my favorite series of books ever wrote(this is what the new movies should be about)…if you dont know anything about it look into it…so if they changing th EU i want no part of the new movies

I like Star Wars but the pun that declares Star Wars day kills me every time I hear it. However, I would love to see the Star Wars movies make it to the play store. Better yet to commemorate they can give away episode one for free. Otherwise when else is anyone going to watch it?

    • JSo

I feel the same way. It sounds like you’re saying it with a speech impediment.

    • MReprogle

I liked Episode 1. Episode 2 & 3 be wiped from the earth, along with that pathetic excuse for acting by Hayden Christiansen.

  • The Narrator

how about we stop milking Star Wars

    • EvanTheGamer

Come on, it’s only once a year. Besides, it’s for a great cause! The Star Wars Cause!

      • The Narrator

I’m talking about the movies, haha. I don’t see it going good, at all. the cast sucks too

        • EvanTheGamer

Yeah, true that. J.J. Abrams, although a great director and filmmaker, should never have wanted to reboot the franchise. It could pay off, but if it doesn’t, it could ruin the name.

And for the record, I still loved Episode 1, so…yeah, I know people have said the same thing about that film, how it ruined the franchise, but I disagree. I just liked it is all.

I was hoping the Movie would have been given to Joss Whedon

          • EvanTheGamer

That would have been pretty awesome to see Joss Whedon tell the Star Wars story.

Also, George Lucas probably wanted to bring J.J. Abrams on board the Star Wars train due to his Star Trek movie directorial credits. I imagine that wasn’t the only reason, but one of.

          • Rob Fetterhoff

It’s not a reboot. It’s a continuation of the story.

          • EvanTheGamer

Good point. A restart of the franchise, then.

          • feedhead

Episode 1 is an abomination in my eyes. If you like that you should have no fears.

          • EvanTheGamer

            Opinions are like…

I’m a fan of Darth Maul, so therefore I’m a fan of Episode 1.

So suck it douche, and have a nice day!

          • feedhead

Darth Maul, while a great character cannot over come the travesty that is Jar Jar or the worst child acting in YES my opinion.
Obviously you were seduced by the dark side of the force.

Dang huge sw fan . I seen return of the Jedi in theater which was awesome for its time, but I didn’t know there was a star wars day

    • EvanTheGamer

Fans have been celebrating Star Wars Day in honor of the bigger-than-life space adventure since 2007. So yeah, SWD has been going on for quite awhile. It’s great fun.
