Haters of white, Kit Kat themed keyboards, the blue is back. In an update to the official Google Keyboard, a theme switcher has been introduced that will take you from 4.4-white to Jelly Bean-blue in a matter of taps. There are also some bug fixes tossed into this update, but the big deal here is the color battle. Seriously, that’s all there is to it.

The update is rolling out now, though potentially as a staged rollout, so the .apk file can be had below.

To access the theme switcher, head into Google Keyboard Settings>Advanced settings>Color scheme. The quickest way to access keyboard settings is by pulling up the keyboard through a text box, long pressing on either “comma” or the voice-to-text mic, and then sliding over to the settings button.
