The Show Floor is Open…It’s CES 2013 Time

And here go! CES 2013 has officially begun. Well, the show floor portion that is. Tim and I are on the ground ready to see what kind of tech mischief we can get into.

Stick with us!

Like Xmas all over again! Haha. Have fun gentlemen! =)

  • Brent Cooper

Isnt otterbox armor suppose to be revealed today?

    • mustbepbs

lol Drop-Proof? What does it do? Stop you from dropping it? Does it just start levitating once it leaves your hand?

      Someone get on that.

      • JoshGroff

Done, it’s attached by a fishing line to a wrist brace thing. Or maybe a mini bungee cord, actually it’s still in development. >.>

        • mustbepbs

          Day one purchase.

          I’ll buy three.

      • EvanTheGamer

LOL! Yes, exactly. It has magical properties. It can even protect you from fire and electricity. Wait..no, it can protect itself from such things, but not the owner. Well…that’s still pretty awesome, right?

  • EvanTheGamer

Post lots of videos and images! And if you can, check out the NVIDIA Project SHIELD(if it’s even on the show floor).

  • ckruppy

Please check out the ASUS Transformer AIO

  • Daniel Garcia

Is it just me or is this CES have almost no Android announcements. Looking for a new tablet and there is only one tegra 4 equipped one so far.

    • gokusimpson

I think most are waiting for MWC or their own conferences.

    • Nathan Buth

Shield was an interesting Android announcement 😀

    • Hunter

Considering the Tegra 4 just started to sample, I’m not entirely surprised.

    • Im pretty sure i saw some sort of washer/dryer combo running android…..who needs phones?

      • JoshGroff

That’s awesome, I wonder what you can do with a rooted W/D combo. Can’t wait to find out. Maybe you could make toast in the dryer or set the washer to pet grooming mode, the possibilities are endless.

I bet you see lots of TV manufacturers peddling 4K.

Which is a shame because we don’t have a resolution problem, we have a content delivery problem.

    • justincase_2008

Yeah we do. I would hate to see cable systems try to pump 4k.

    • Yeah it seems somewhat pointless. Not to mention how overpriced they currently are.

I’ve yet to find a reason to replace my 1080P Samsung Plasma 50”, its colors are insanely accurate. Had some friends over for the playoffs Saturday and one of my friends just bought a 60” LED LG TV and he said he was more impressed by my Plasma’s color accuracy compared to his and it cost him nearly 3K.

The only reason I’d want to get a new TV is to reduce power consumption and heat production (One of the faults of plasmas), the quality of newer TV’s haven’t impressed me in the least. The 4K’s have, but the price and lack of content definitely makes them an odd choice right now.

      • justincase_2008

Yeah im still using a 67″ samsung tv from 2 years ago. Looks just as good as the new tvs to me.

      • EC8CH

I’ve got a Panny ST30 plasma. No doubt plasma gives the best PQ/$
