Beach Buggy Blitz Hits Tegra Zone and Google Play, Packed Full of Karting Madness

The latest game to hit Google Play and the Tegra Zone is Beach Buggy Blitz, a “casual driving adventure game” that sets you and your buggy loose on a mysterious tropical island. From there you get to drive around where you want, collecting coins and trying not to hit all of the distractions scattered around. The coins you collect let you buy other buggies and power-ups to help along your explorations and make the game worth coming back to.

If you have a Tegra powered device you can get the THD edition with extras that the regular edition doesn’t include. Unfortunately for the moment the game only works with Tegra devices – support for other devices will be added soon. If you feel like getting your buggy on your Nexus 7 or other Tegra device, hit the link below.

  • This is basically a cross between Shine Runner (one of their other games) and Temple Run.

I’m not seeing any “THD” version on my Nexus 7…in the Play Store and Tegra zone, there is only 1 “Beach Buggy Blitz”…anyone?

  • Boo.. no tegra devices here apparently. I can’t wait to try this out though. Riptide is great.

I’ll have to check this out, thanks. Hope my Asus TF101 will play it but the “no tablet support” comments make me a little nervous.

works fine on my asus tf101 w/ ICS

Man…Beach Buggy Blitz is tons of fun and for being free, WOW! Great game at the lowest price possible!

Those seagulls sure look a lot like the ones from Finding Nemo. I hope Apple doesn’t let Disney know.

    • ha, good eye.

No tablet support? Not available for my LTE G-tab 10.1, but does show available for my ancient OG that’s sitting in a drawer somewhere. Odd.

    • JB

Shows compatible with my Lenovo K1 tablet but not the Xoom that my build.prop is now spoofing. They really don’t want anyone to install their app.

      • They’ll fix them soon

    • EvanTheGamer

It’s compatible with my Nexus 7. So my advice to you is…buy a Nexus 7!

      • Derek Ross

        I own a Nexus 7 as well.

        • EvanTheGamer

Uhh….then why did you say that there was no tablet support, when clearly the Nexus 7 is supported? lol

    • I believe it’s Tegra-only right now, maybe that’s it.
