Cross Europe off the list of jurisdictions needing to give the acquisition of Motorola by Google the thumbs up. According to Google’s official blog, the European Commission has cleared the deal and is now just waiting for a “few other” jurisdictions to press “Go.”
The Wall Street Journal reported last week that we could see the acquisition clear the U.S. as early as this week.
