Adobe Flash Player 11 is Live in the Android Market (Updated: AIR Too)

Adobe wasn’t messing around when they told us that Flash Player 11 would be released tonight on Android.  It might not have Stage3D built in just yet, but it’s still an upgrade.  Go get it folks!

Update:  Adobe AIR 3 is available as well.

Market Link: Flash 11 | AIR 3

I can’t use any apps on my phone because storage space is low.  Why is this update so huge and why does the market list it as only 6MB, when it’s really 17MB?

  • My wife and i were thrilled Jordan managed to finish off his researching through your precious recommendations he made when using the blog. It’s not at all simplistic just to always be making a gift of key points which often the others have been making money from. We consider we have got you to be grateful to because of that. The entire explanations you’ve made, the simple blog navigation, the friendships your site help create – it’s got mostly excellent, and it’s helping our son and our family know that that subject matter is enjoyable, which is certainly exceedingly essential. Thank you for everything!

What browser is that in the screenshot?

    • Anonymous

      Dolphin browser.

  • I needed to send you one bit of observation to help say thanks a lot yet again on your splendid advice you’ve documented here. This has been strangely open-handed of you to make extensively precisely what most people would’ve advertised as an e-book to generate some dough on their own, particularly seeing that you might have done it if you ever decided. Those points as well served to become great way to be aware that most people have a similar passion like my very own to figure out many more on the subject of this condition. I’m sure there are some more fun opportunities up front for individuals who looked at your blog post.

Updated this morning and loaded up some embedded videos on some websites.
Definitely a performance boost – bigtime.

  • “Phone storage space is getting low.”
Another real world implication that my OG Droid has reached elderly status.

I miss my OG Droid. I buried it in the back yard with my 8800GT. Poor guys…

a week to go til we find out. im excited.

  • Can we stop blocking my Nook Color from downloading random apps from the Market? Seriously, I’m positive this will work on it. So does Netflix. It’s running 2.3.3. Your DRM is safe. Facebook should work too. Especially since you let me download the Facebook Messenger app on it… *facepalms*

I’ll just grab the APK from somewhere…

  • anyone notice there is a icon in the app drawer named flash player settings ??

Well if you click on it it asks you to choose your browser & I clicked on It & it opens to a webpage but says …adobe flash player is not detected…..

Wonder if ADOBE has something up there sleeves folks ???

This is significantly faster at loading web pages. Just today I was bitching under my breath at how long it took to load pages. About 10-12 seconds. Now the same pages are loading in 3. (on DX) I normally do not care enough about Flash updates but this one is really good.
