Gameloft Adds Support for the DROID Charge

Gameloft is one of those companies that actually likes to make sure their products work before releasing them and is usually the reason we see support for new devices missing at launch.  The DROID Charge is a pretty good example of that even if to many, support for it seems to have taken an extra long amount of time.  The good news is that as of this week, you can find a number of titles that the Charge has been given the thumbs up to.  All you have to do is head over the Gameloft online store and start browsing.

Cheers Impatient Charge Owner!

Yes you are right that this story is quite misleading.  The list of games actually working on the Droid Charge includes only Spiderman, Modern Combat 2, NOVA, Hawx, Uno, Let’s Golf 2, and Assassins Creed that is also my words as a blogger of http://www.globaltechnologyblog.com and i recommend that this technogie may be submitted on http://www.technogies.com

This story is quite misleading.  The list of games actually working on the Droid Charge includes only Spiderman, Modern Combat 2, NOVA, Hawx, Uno, Let’s Golf 2, and Assassins Creed.  Meaning there are still tons of Gameloft games that do not work on this phone.  Gameloft makes the best phone games but it is too bad their support sucks.

I paid $32.67 for a XBOX 360 and my mom got a 17 inch Toshiba laptop for $94.83 being delivered to our house tomorrow by FedEX. I will never again pay expensive retail prices at stores. I even sold a 46 inch HDTV to my boss for $650 and it only cost me $52.78 to get. Here is the website we using to get all this stuff, LiveCent.com

Why not add some tablets while you are add it? I wanted to get into the $0.99 cent deals with my Asus Transformer, but my tablet is not even listed as supported. How am I suppose to purchase your games if you won’t give me access to install them?

I have a Droid 3.  What I think is pretty funny is that if you visit the gameloft site using the phone you get the message “sorry, but there are no available games for your mobile”

BUT!  The phone comes with two preloaded (yet mercifully uninstallable) gameloft demos.   Would that not lead one to believe that at least two games are supported on the Droid 3?

Kellex, can you do a poll to see how many visitors to this site actually own any of these new devices? i.e. Charge, DX2, Revolution, Inc 2, Xperia Play? Just curious as to how these have done amongst avid android followers. It would probably be a good idea for you to know also.

Hey Kellen, I know that droid-life has, more or less, a template for every entry, but can we please skip the pointless pictures on posts like this one? We already know what the phone looks like, this picture adds nothing to the post, except of course more load time and resources.

      -1

The picture inspired me to search for the Charge system dump so I can get the boot animation out of it for my OG Droid.

    I love gameloft.

Not only they verify that their game can run on a device, but they also make sure that that game is already released by another company by several years in advance.

I think they hit it right on the head. Just look at all those other companies, trying to “innovate”. I’ll stick with what is tried and proven to work, thank you.

Yeah thanks gameloft. I lost all of my games from my dx when I got my dx2 as a replacement. Thanks for punishing me and not giving me any refund or anything because I had a faulty device. I appreciate all that you do. Really. You’re the best company besides moto and vzw. So I thank you. I don’t want a credit, or refund, or support so you are making me so happy.

Maybe someday they’ll support the Droid X2 and Droid 3.
