Samsung DROID CHARGE Appears in Verizon System, Announcement Coming?

There was a lot of talk about Verizon’s Samsung 4G LTE device yesterday including confirmation of DROID branding and an official name of DROID CHARGE, but it’s now looking more and more like the device will be announced at any minute.  Along with the DROID branding confirmation came word out of Costco that a pre-sale for the device would begin this Thursday along with a potential launch date of April 7th, so to see it now appearing in Verizon systems, we have to think that a press release is imminent.

Stay tuned…

    Dear Samsung,

Can you built a 100 inch oled tv and just continue from there. No need to do phones. Thank you

i think samsung should jus stick to TVs and maybe consider entering the music player market. they’ve really messed up with galaxy s line and their update fiasco…..

So basically Verizon wanted a 4G Droid phone out already and since TB wasn’t it and they don’t want to wait for summer for Moto they made it happen now.

If is not the Bionic, I’m not interested…

Hope they get on with it so Samsung can earn my business. My Thunderbolt will arrive today but I’d really like to look at this Samsung. Name sucks but that’s not a very smart way to choose the phone you’ll have for the nex two years.

The DROID brand is worthless at this point. It was good to get people initially interested in Android, but it’s time to move on.

I give Verizon the permission to NOT announce this phone and skip to the bionic or the revolution

Anyone know the battery size? Dual-core? Since its a DROIIID, will it get timely updates? See, I think the Fascinate didn’t get Froyo yet because of Bing. They have to have signed some BS contract where it cant get Froyo yet and everyone can just download Google search bar.
