Google Goggles Update Lets You Solve Sudoku Puzzles

Google Goggles has a new use! It can solve Sudoku puzzles! For those of us that have never actually solved a real Sudoku puzzle, this is big stuff, especially when you have family members that can crush tons of them in a single day. And while my market refuses to update Goggles for me, I’m sure that it will be there for most of you. Have fun showing everyone how extra brilliant you are today!

So far has been 100% accurate.. Even did a google image search for ” Sudoku” and took a picture of the screen.

It refuses to update for me as well. I keep getting the error that the package was not signed correctly

  Try uninstalling the current one on your phone.. Assuming you have your phone rooted? You probably have a custom theme associated with it.. I don’t know.. IF rooted, grab Titanium Backup and uninstall it that way.. Usually works perfect for me.

    Nope, not rooted. I removed root when some strange things were happening with my Droid. Considering re-rooting…but have been lazy.

There are actually more updates to Goggles than this. However, this is clearly the most important feature update

It recognized 1 of about 25 I tried. Then it missed numbers in it and solved it incorrectly. Cool concept, might need some polishing.

  Yeah, definitely missed some numbers on the one I tried. Seemed to solved it right given the remaining numbers, but didn’t do me any good.
  
  The recognizing of print ads is pretty cool as someone who does print ads at my job.
