A relatively large Google Play services update is now rolling out, labeled as v26.33. Inside, there are a lot of miscellaneous changes, but the things that stuck out to us includes a mention of Googlebook support as well as new App Bundles for Google Play.
With this update, Google writes that you can now access your phone’s apps from Googlebook. This is obviously one of the selling features of the upcoming Googlebook, which is scheduled for release later this year. It’s good to see this support rolling out for anyone who might have the early access to hardware.
Also mentioned under the Google Play section are App Bundles. As detailed, “With App Bundles, you can easily discover and install curated sets of complementary apps right after you download an app on Google Play.” In my mind, if I install Facebook, it could be nice to be offered a bundle of Messenger, Instagram, and Meta AI. That’s the thought I had.
