It was a year ago when we learned Nintendo was planning to launch a Mario Kart title for Android. We’ve been very patient since then. Finally, Nintendo has announced beta details and has provided a rough timeline for when the game is set to launch — Summer of this year.
If you want to get in on the beta action, all you’ll need to do is sign-up for the beta via your Android device. Do note, you’ll need a Nintendo account registered with a Gmail email address in order to take part in the beta. To emphasize, your email must end in gmail.com to be eligible.
Beta application is set to end on May 7, followed by the beta going live on May 22. The beta ends on June 4. Should all go well, we’ll have our Mario Kart for Android in no time.
Get to it, Android people.
