After an initial $150 price drop when the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL were released, the Pixel 2 XL has been given another discount to end 2018. Google’s bigger 2017 phone is now $599.
This extra $50 discount is a part of the Google Store’s end-of-year special offers, but it could be around for a while. I’d imagine that Google wants to move as many of their old phone inventory as they possibly can.
The Google Store currently has 64GB in-stock in both colors for $599 and 128GB Just Black phones for $699.
For some reason, the regular Pixel 2 is the same price as the 2 XL (review). You should skip that and just get the 2 XL.
