The HTC One (M8) on AT&T is receiving an update today that unfortunately is not Android 5.0 “Lollipop.” Even though we are approaching the backend of HTC’s 90-day update rollout, this update, at least according to AT&T’s support, is just Android 4.4.4 with the inclusion of HD Voice. The update also improves battery performance, introduces security and Bluetooth enhancements, and upgrades some bloatware.

In order to check for the update, head into Settings and tap on AT&T Software update>Check for updates.

The update drops in officially as Android 4.4.4, software 3.42.502.1
