A couple of weeks ago, Dropbox announced that it had partnered with Microsoft to include Office integration within its web and mobile apps. The move is a big deal for Office users, as they can access and edit Office documents from within Dropbox, a cloud storage solution that can be reached from just about anywhere and on any platform. In a blog post today, Dropbox announced that the new functionality is now available on Android.

To get started, they remind you to update to the newest version of Dropbox, then open any Office document, spreadsheet or presentation from within Dropbox. You should see an “edit” icon that will let you start editing. Once you are finished editing, your document will then save automatically back to Dropbox.

Give it a shot and let us know how it goes.
