The LG Nexus 4, Google’s newest Nexus device, such a thing of beauty, isn’t it? That brilliant 4.7″ display on the front, the Crystal Reflection pattern tucked under a piece of glass on the back, those cascading edges, and that soft touch plastic housing, all make up for one of the more interesting smartphone designs of the last couple of years. Unfortunately, for those that purchased one or plan to purchase one, you may have to cover it up with a bumper or case, as it may also be one of the most fragile smartphones ever made. 

If you don’t mind some extreme shaky-hands syndrome camera work and a guy being overly dramatic about what is to take place, then watch this video immediately. What takes place is the world’s first official drag race scratch test between the iPhone 4S and the Samsung Galaxy SIII.

The results may shock you. 

Attention future Galaxy SIII owners, do not attempt this at home. We have seen these “drop test” videos in the past and they’re always sort of fun to watch. In this edition, we have the new Samsung Galaxy SIII taking on Apple’s iPhone 4S. Keep in mind, the SGSIII features the popular Gorilla Glass 2, which doesn’t seem to fair very well after a few of these drops. Don’t be a fool, wrap your smartphone tool. 

Making the rounds this morning, we have a video from an Android user who after hearing time and time again that iOS and the iPhone “just work” and are “more polished” than any other device, decided to spend 30 days with one to see for himself. He purchased an iPhone 4S, but mind you, this was not his first iOS device. In fact, he owns the new iPad and other Apple products and is familiar with the ecosystem, however, his goal was to take his experience with the 4S and compare it to using Google’s latest mobile OS, Ice Cream Sandwich.
