Does everyone remember A.I. Type keyboard? The keyboard that functions a lot like Swiftkey, with its predicting, learning, and correcting, is now 60% off ($1.99) thanks to its install total eclipsing the 1 million mark. There was once a time when A.I Type was all the rage, especially because of its theme capabilities, but that damn Swiftkey is just too good to not use on a daily basis. 

There are so many keyboards these days that it has almost become a chore to keep up with them.  I seem to find myself switching on a weekly basis, falling in love for a couple of days with one, and then reverting back to or finding a new option shortly after.  My current active keyboard of choice is GO Keyboard, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have the itch to jump back to FlexT9 or Swiftkey X.  A lot of these keyboards are just so good in their own right, however, I can never decide which is my go to.  What about you?  Favorite keyboard right now is…?  Or better yet, which keyboard can you not live without?

Fans of the A.I.type Beta keyboard can now buy the ‘Plus’ version from the Android Market. When your competition is Swype, SwiftyKeyX, and FlexT9 you better bring your A-game. A.I.type has some great features which we wish some of the better known keyboards would have, and they only plan on growing the list. 

It has been a month or so since we last asked you what your current app obsessions were.  Since that time, we have seen a number of impressive apps, like A.I. Type keyboard (that I personally can’t get enough of), HD Widgets for tablets, return of ESPN’s fantasy football app, new Swype, SimplePLAY’s song swiping, and so many more.  Anything in particular though, that you just can’t seem to get enough of?  Discover an older app that you wish you had known about from the beginning?  Maybe an app that we haven’t covered at all?  Let us know!

We may have just been introduced to our new favorite keyboard.  OK, that may be jumping the gun a little, but A.I.Type (AIT) Keyboard has certainly left a strong first impression on us in just the few short minutes that we have had with it.  Following Swiftkey’s lead, AIT employs the text-predicting model rather than the swiping, and does it quite well.  Not only that, it also brings with it some of the BlindType-esque error correction engine that we saw in August of last year.  You can miss letters while typing words, but as long as your are in the vicinity of the correct letter, AIT should give you proper results.

We should also point out that this keyboard is fully customizable.  First, they offer you an array of popular keyboard layouts, but then let you take it to a new level by allowing custom background images and key colors.  Oh yeah – it’s also free.
